Here's my latest painting. Trying to work in a looser style. Uncle Tom and Viggo from a photo taken 3 years ago.

Here's my latest painting for the Mountain Oyster Club western art show. It's an entry and has to be juried in - here's hoping! It's taken loosely from a photo of a roundup in Arivaca, AZ. That's a real Cowboy. I don't think there are many left.

I'm painting a lot these days and am going to enter my work in a few shows. That's Larry getting ready for a roundup 30 years ago. Also Larry with the little calf. Clementine with her beloved horse Pedro and a Vermillion Flycatcher (photo courtesy of Andy)

The longhornsteer is the second painting of this fellow that I've done. In this painting he's looking at you instead of ambling off into the dusk. I painted the mule deer with a cheap 1" brush from Ace Hardware.  I also used smaller brushes for detail, but the 1" brush was great. Painting was much faster and freer. The blue window is a house in the Santa Rosa Barrio of Tucson. The Bird of Paradise plant was a challenge.

This is a painting of my favorite Mexican restaurant that I've been going to for 35 years. They specialize in green corn tamales and they are such a special treat! There aren't many restaurants in the United States that make green corn tamales and Lerua's  makes the best!

Here are poppies, larkspur and roses from my garden this spring. The poppies and larkspur reseed every year and surprise me with their color.
These cactus flowers bloomed last month. I'm doing a series of flower paintings. They are all so different and beautiful.

Well, it's been a while. Here's a new painting. These are poppies growing next to the woods by my little old school house in East Aurora. I think they may have been originally planted by the students at the school that was built around 1880.
